第5世代iPhoneはインチアップして4インチ液晶を搭載か!?

Edible Appleによると、第5世代iPhoneは4インチディスプレイを搭載するかもしれないそうです。

The component suppliers noted that the production lines for Apple’s next generation iPhone have begun testing, and Apple is interesting in expanding the screen size to 4-inches to support the tablet PC market as the vendor only has a 9.7-inch iPad in the market.

パーツサプライヤーの話としてAppleは次世代iPhoneに4インチのディスプレイを搭載するべくテストを開始したとのことです。

今現在のiPhoneの液晶ディスプレイは3.5インチで、これは初代iPhoneから変わっていないのですがインチアップするとなると、また解像度を上げることになるんだろうかとアプリ開発屋としては戦々恐々なのですが果てさて

まぁでも4インチになることで、電子書籍、特に漫画が読みやすくなりそうですなぁ。

RetinaDisplayを擁するiPhone 4でも細かいコマ割とかになると読みづらくなることが多々あるのでインチアップすることでセリフが多すぎるカイジとかが読みやすくなればこれ幸い。ざわざわ・・・。
