今年はフルモデルチェンジの周期で、iPhone 7がリリースされましたが、デザイン上では、「iPhone 6s s」と言われてもおかしくないものでした。

本当のフルモデルチェンジはiPhone 8で、その登場は2017年だという噂は前からありましたが、9to5Macにて、iPhone 8の噂が報じられていました。

Following on from previous rumors of a major redesign for the next iPhone, Barclays supply chain analysts are weighing in on their predictions for iPhone 8. They claim that the 2017 iPhone will feature a bezel-less design with the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus including 5-inch and 5.8-inch screens, respectively. This compares with the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch panels used in the iPhone 7.

現在のiPhoneのラインナップは、4.7インチと5.8インチですが、iPhone 8は5インチ、5.8インチだとぉ・・・。

iOS 10から320x480の世話をしなくて済むと思ったのに、この噂がもし本当ならばiOS 11では対応しないといけない画面が増えてしまうということか・・・。

まぁ、最近のXcodeのStoryboardはよくできていますから、以前よりもそこまで大変ではなくなっていますが・・・。あ、アプリ開発の話ですよ。
